As the A6300 had reached almost 70,000 images over the past few years when I saw that Sony had brought out the 6400 with ultra fast focus and time lapse added I decided to upgrade and included the newish 18-135mm lens. I'm more than pleased with the results so far and below are a few of the images shot in the first few days. Note that all focal lengths below images are 35mm equivalents ie - 18-135mm = 27-202mm.

So far this was the first time a tripod was used
So at the end of the first few days with the A6400 and 18-135 lens I'm very impressed. It will take me a while to get to know all the features but it focuses very very quickly and exposure is OK and the sharpness of the lens is very good. I was very pleased to see time lapse onboard.

A short visit to a local pond for a few pics with the A6400. The ducks were on strike and the owls hidden away so not much to take today.

This image I took back in 1981 using a widelux pano camera which used the slit scan technique for capturing the image by panning.
It was also used in "2001 a space Odyssey" a Kubrick film.
On my way along the canal to find some blubells I noticed a duck who flew off as I pointed the camera -so I took a pot shot and the 6400 captured the flying duck

Tucked away in the Movie menu (5/9 ) on the 6400 is the Zoom feature. I have started to use the clearimage zoom choice and am very impressed with the quality. It extends my 18-135 favourite lens to 36 to 270 making it 54mm - 400mm - 35mm equiv, very useful and very good too!
