City 3 Wolves 0

City's recent good form continued with a comfortable win over Wolves who had caused problems here last season. An early goal by Jesus and a red card for Boly enabled the sky blues to win without having to extend themselves. Having notched 4 goals in his last game Jesus is full of confidence and increased his goal tally for the season to 14 - level with Aguero with his second - from the penalty spot. Jesus has scored 12 goals in his last 8 games at the Etihad. Not bad for a back-up for Aguero!
David Silva made his 267th Premiership appearance overtaking the 266 by Joe Hart. He should get past the 300 mark. Ederson did not have a shot to save Wolves failing to get anything on target!
The visitors had to defend for nearly all the game and restricted City to three goals.
So the Liverpool lead is only 4 points now and the rest of the season will be interesting. I cannot remember whether I have ever watched City on a Monday night before!
We thought De Bruyne and Aguero would start but both were on the bench - Jesus and Benardo keeping their places. Walker was at right back and Danilo moved the left.
