The Friday of the 3rd Test between England and West Indies was washed out through rain so it was a miserable day . The West Indies were 275 for 6 overnight and although the weather improved for a time spectators were left to entertain themselves.

It looked as though we might have some play at 3-30 as the players did a warm-up as did Channel 4 commentators but the blessing of the two monks came to naught as the rain came back once more

It was back to the bar for refreshments before play was finally called off.
