Having put Yorkshire in to bat - the visitors had reached 345 for 9 on the first day
The Yorkshire innings didn't last long - Lee being bowled in Chapples first over. The Lancashire openers did not find scoring easy and Chilton was certainly finding life difficult being hit by Kruis
Chilton who had found it difficult to get off the mark was out first - caught behind off Kruis for 2. Lancs were 18 for 1 . Then Sutcliffe drove at Patterson and was caught by White for 23. Lancs 2 for 30
Gillespie and Kruis kept the scoring down and at 70 Law edged Kruis and was caught behind for 32 for Lancashire to lose their third wicket
Loye brings up the 100 at lunch
Sutton and Loye now took the game over and started to score freely
Sutton reached his 50 and Loye his 100 as the partnership passed the 100 mark
Loye was out after reaching his 100 but Lancashire continued to score freely
After the loss of Chapple , Sutton reached his 100 and Lancashire ended the day on 359 for 6. The match eventually ended in a draw.
